Well Done
I made this card for my granddaughter mainly, but it could be for anyone who has good news, or has succeeded in something. This image was offered as a freebie by Maurie "Mo" Manning at Digital Pencil Too and I thought it was just too cute. I'm loving my Cosmo Cricket papers, so I picked the papers and then colored my happy little girl with my copic markers. My granddaughter got a prize for reading the highest number of books, and she's just in K-5. She's a good little reader and I was very proud of her for reaching her goal. My sentiment was done with my Just-Rite Font and stamper. I also tried a new technique for me which is cutting an image that extends beyond the edge of your Nestie. The next time I'll be VERY careful if I have a thin piece which extends as you can see the wrinkles in her arm, but it did work, so I'm happy. I added a small ribbon loop with the sentiment with two ribbons from SU! "Mo"has added so many new images to her store and they're all just awesome. Thanks for stopping by and remember that it's time for another Copic Challenge this week, so stay tuned.....

Hi Karen! I'm finally making time tonight to catch up with my favorite blogs and I see you have been busy creating some beautiful cards. Absolutely adore this one. I love how you color Mo's images.
Super adorable card Karen!! Just love Mo's images and you have colored this one up fabulously!!
This is super duper cute! I love this image and the colours you chose to colour her! How perfect for your granddaughter! It will make her day to have something homemade from you!

This couldn't be a more perfect card for your granddaughter's outstanding achievement! Good for her! You're so wise to pick the papers and then color the image. I rarely remember to do that, but it makes it so much easier to put the card together. Fabulous coloring, of course, as always. I saw this out of the box Nestie technique done by Diane (cookiestamper). Got it bookmarked and always mean to try it. Another one of those "someday" things. Yours looks great!
This is so sweet. I bet your GD would love it. I like the little ribbon tab you added to the sentiment.
OMGoodness where have i been. i'm behind here. this is such a sweet card, you always do such a fabulous job with Mo's images. you always bring them to life. I love it.
