Wishes for a Sunny Day

I'm trying to get this posted before Fay arrives and threatens to leave us powerless. I've been enjoying the "adventures of Speedy the Cat" at Stampin' with Markie's Mom, and apparently Speedy couldn't find any umbrella stamps in the midst of the storm. That inspired me to use my umbrella stamp and I also decided to incorporate it with the Sketch Challenge. My "umbrella girl" likes to be stylin' even in the pouring rain. Her raincoat designer is Basic Grey's Scarlet's Letter. Her boots are by WaterPolo, and her umbrella is by British Mist. Her dog's garment was a bit too pricey to even mention. For those of you picking up the pieces from Fay, I hope the sun comes out and your day gets brighter. To all my blogging friends I wish you a bright, sunny day. Perhaps I can even post this to the sketch challenge while there's time. Then, I'd best get busy with preparations for the arrival of my Cali kids this week. Hugs and Happy Saturday, Karen

Such a fun card!! I love how the boots match the background paper. The doggy outfit is adorable...I can tell it cost a fortune:) Who is that girl? Paris or Brittany? (Grin) Another wonderful card! I love it!!!

I love this card! I think the polka dots throughout make it so fun and cheery even despite the rain!
