Apron Glitz

It has been a difficult week for us with the death of a sister and dear friend, both within a week of each other. Obviously there has been no time for cards but I thought I would post this card that I did prior to these events. It started out to be a vintage card and ended up being a "glitz-y" vintage card. I am loving the Glitter Glitz that I learned about here and couldn't resist playing with it, so my apron ended up being a bit dressy. I still love how it turned out. I used October Afternoon's "Fly a Kite" designer papers, and a Lockhart apron Stamp. The glitter glitz and stamp can be found at Ellen Hutson's store here. Hopefully I'll be back soon with more posts and leaving comments. If you have any questions about this card feel free to e-mail me. Have a wonderful day.

Sorry to hear about your losses. Sending hugs and prayers your way.
I love your apron card and I am sure the glitz shows up way better in person! I actually have a Lockhart Apron stamp that I haven't inked up yet. Guess your card is giving me the needed push!

Karen, my goodness, I'm so sorry to hear of your losses. That's more than one should have to bear in so short a time. We're never ready for such a thing, are we? Your card really is adorable. I love the apron and the Fly a Kite paper. I have that pack as yet untouched, just waiting for the chance to use a proper image with it.

Hi Karen. Gosh, I've been meaning to write to tell you how sorry I was to hear of your sad, sad news. I hope you and your hubby are feeling a little better, time does seem to heal us. Had to tell you how much I love this apron card though. What a great image and you've done a wonderful job with it. Love the glitz. Take care of yourself - hope all is well! hugz, Mary
