Think Spring

The buzz word seems to be that people are sick of snow and winter and eagerly awaiting Spring. Now, I must confess that I'm truly excited that it might snow here tomorrow, but hey.......this is Florida and we never see the stuff. I lived 30 years in northern Illinois and when we moved here I never wanted to see snow again, but alas, I would like to see it a little. That's because if it does snow, it will be gone before the day is out, but it's oh, so pretty at first. Anyhoo, I'm posting this card for all of you who hate the snow and cold. I actually did the SCS Weekly Inkling project from yesterday and loved it. I must do more of these - it was simple and I think very eye-catching. My garden gloves are from an adorable set called "Gardening" from Impression Obsession. The papers are from Taylored Expressions kit from last summer. The sentiment is from Flourishes "Seasonal Wreaths". I hope this helps you get out of the winter blues just a little. Spring will follow before too long. Thanks for visiting my little corner. I love all your visits.

Lovely gardening spring card. Those gloves are very sweet and great framing as well.

Thank-you from very cold Belhaven Ontario----good ol Canada!
P.S. They are begging for it to snow in Vancouver for the Olympics because there is a lack of snow!!!!

This is gorgeous Karen!! such a beautiful spring card! I too am not in any rush for the weather to change here we've gotten lots of rain and some snow. Living in the New Mexico desert all we usually get is heat and dust storms. Have a great day Karen!!
hugs,
Rachel

This is a wonderful card! I am certainly ready for spring here ... there are giant flakes falling - and we've already missed 2 days THIS WEEK from the weather. Sigh.

This is so pretty. I appreciated your comment on my Folded Paper frame card and just had to come over to see what you did. I like those gloves combined with that sentiment. I also like how you used the scallop square inside the frame.
